Bath Vanity Mirrors
Bath vanity mirrors come in all shapes and sizes. Before you purchase a new vanity mirror, you will need to decide on size, style, finish and budget.
Size: A bath vanity mirror should be no wonder than the width of the bathroom vanity it hangs over. If you bathroom vanity is 48″ wide, then stay between 40″ – 48″ wide on your vanity mirror.
Style & Finish: Is your look contemporary or traditional? For most projects, its best to use the bathroom vanity as the center piece from which to design around. If your vanity is traditional, then stick with a traditional oval wood finish mirror. If you are on the contemporary side, metallics and espressos are great alternatives.
Budget: Expect to spend at least $100 on a bathroom vanity mirror, unless you can find something used at a garage sale or on Craigslist. If you do not have a lot of local shopping alternatives, the internet is a great way to find exactly what you are looking for. When searching on a major search engine, be as specific as possible – in example – 30 inch oval oak bathroom mirror. This way you will more easily find a vanity mirror that meets your specific needs.
